I have always had a thing for Owls and Moth. I feel both are equally creepy. So why not mix Both? There’s certainly lots going on in this painting, but i’m assuming that was my goal. Something colorful, something chaotic, overall a bit disturbing.

No Sense For Sanity

Ok, No more teasers!!!! I took Every element from my OMEN paintings, and combined them into one. I didn’t even realize that until i started inking this. The original sketch of this was quite simple, it was just a outline of the basic figure. Its been a blast painting this piece, I’ve been trying to focus more on my paints rather than my ink detail. Overall, i like everything thats going on here.
Alternate Title For the painting was gonna be “Suspended State of Cryogenics”

Had lots of fun with this piece. First painting to get me motivated after OMEN. i wanted to use lots of colors, because i feel they have been lacking for some time. She is quite lovely.

Another installment for OMEN which is a multi-artist show with my good friend Devin Fransisco. I wanted to work more with Devin on some of the paintings for the show, but time was cut short. So this painting was somewhat inspired by his work. Title of the painting was taken from a TAPROOT song (cant remember the title of the song).
OMEN St. Paul opening reception is on December 1st 2012 at the Holy Mackerel Tattoo and Piercing studios. Show starts at 9pm.
